Recap message from our CVAA President Joey Stemmle, VA Eta'12:

Hello Brothers,

Thank you to all 90 Brothers and Guests who were able to join us for Founder's Day 2016 - Proud Past, Promising Future. With the large turn out, 8 different chapters were represented at Founder's Day 2016.

Highlights of the night included:

  • Hearing a very touching update from Jeff Gore & Chris Perkins of the VA Alpha House Corporation

  • SWGP Scott Noble giving a Phi Psi HQ update and presenting the Jerry Nelson Leadership award to Stephen Scipione of VA Alpha for his leadership of the chapter during the Rolling Stones debacle

  • Brother Atal Naim of VA Eta lead a reflection of the creed and a moment of silence was held for Brother Kent Christopher Owen, co-author of the Phi Psi Creed, who entered Chapter Eternal.

  • The following Brothers were elected to the CVAA Board for 2016-2017
    • President - Joey Stemmle, VA Eta '12
    • Vice - President - Jae Lee, VA Eta '12
    • Treasurer - Robert Holt, VA Eta '12
    • Secretary - Joseph Quesenberry, VA Eta '12

  • Joey Stemmle, VA Eta '12 was awarded the John D. Watt dedicated service award. 

  • Elliott Taylor, VA Eta '12 was awarded the Undergraduate of the Year award.

  • The following Brothers were recognized for achieving a 3.2 GPA or higher this past Fall and Spring.
